Parts Technician

Startec Refrigeration Services Ltd. requires a Parts Technician for our Calgary service facility.

This role performs a variety of duties including:

  • Providing price quotations to both internal and external customers
  • Advising of delivery dates
  • Checking inventory for product availability
  • Coordinating materials to support service operations.

The Parts Technician prepares and maintains sales orders, monitors and maintains inventory stock levels, purchases in accordance with material requirements, and is responsible for tracking and approval of materials utilized in day to day service operations. The Parts Technician is responsible for the logistics and materials movements between branches.

This role includes shipping and receiving duties and will involve repetitive lifting, and the use of necessary equipment, e.g. ladders, pallet jacks, etc. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness, safety and accessibility of the parts warehouse for customers and employees.
